SILC manufatcures a complete series of electric steam generators with power from 12 to 108 kW and steam production from 18 to 106 kg/h (pressure from 0,5 to 5 bar). These units are self-contained and automatic, and are designed and manufactured in the strict respects of the international safety and productive standards. In particular, the SILC steam generators are conform to the European “PED” Normative (European Directive PED 97/23/CE) which determines the safety requirements in the designing and manufacturing of pressure appliances. The conformity of these generators to “PED” regulation is certified by the Notified Organization PASCAL of Milan, authorized by the Italian Minister of Productive activities.

       PED CERTIFICATION 

The electric steam generators of SILC can be used in all the activities which require the use of steam. In fact, even if these machines have been ideated for feeding the SILC ironing machines in those working places (laundries, dry cleaning shops, garment industries) without central lines of steam, they have been used with great efficiency in the most various sectors of activity:

• Washing of metals
• Alimentary sector
• Sterilization
• Wellness
• Medical appliances

Thanks to their compactness and small dimensions, the SILC electric steam generators require limited space and can be placed inside the working room. They do not require specific rooms and can be used also by not skilled operators. Moreover, these steam generators guarantee a considerable energetic saving, because each heating element in the boiler can be switch on separately in accordance with the energetic requirements of the users. Finally, all the steam generators are provided with a condensate recovery tank made of stainless steel with capacity of 80 liters.

• Mod. S/C54-A 2U
Special electric steam generator with two boilers of 48 liters. Maximum power 108 kW (six elements of 18 kW each) and steam production of 144 kg/h
